Absolutely! You can easily duplicate pages or sections (called canvases), and then modify them to suit your needs. You can also move canvases to different pages or change canvas order on each page.
I'm not a photographer, so I don't need galleries. Can I remove them?

The galleries in the portfolio section are easily removed with one click. If you only want to show videos, you can link to a video canvas or a page highlighting your latest project. You could also use a gallery on your ABOUT page for some fun behind the scenes shots, i.e. you rocking it on set. 💪

No, these templates will only work on the Showit platform. Showit and Wordpress work together for blogging, but all of your design happens on the Showit side. You can read more about how Showit and Wordpress work together here.
Besides Showit and the template what else do I need?
Besides Showit and the template what else do I need?
You'll need a domain if you don't already have one. We recommend Squarespace for your domain purchase. Squarespace's user interface is easy to navigate with free add-ons other providers may charge for, like domain privacy. Showit will be your domain host, but you need to purchase the name separately.

There are a few ways to display video on Showit depending on length and size. For short clips, you can display a looping video as a background on any canvas. For displaying video as part of your portfolio, we recommend uploading to YouTube or Vimeo. The Filmmakers & Anna templates each have a pre-formatted video pop-up. All you do is add your link. Duplicate as many times as you need. Showit has a super easy way to embed video elsewhere on your site. You can learn more about video + Showit here.
Can I change colors or fonts?

YAAAS! While we put a lot of thought and strategic design into each template, you always have the option to make changes anywhere. Showit makes it super easy to use any Google font, and you can also upload free fonts or fonts you own. More info on that here.

Showit makes SEO (Search Engine Optimization) very easy with areas on each page or photo to enter info. For blog pages and posts, you can enter SEO on the Wordpress side by using the Yoast plug-in (included with all blog subscriptions). Learn more about Showit + SEO here.

Because the templates are delivered via download and we offer a full demo of the live site, we do not offer a return. What you see is exactly what you get, including the free photos and fonts. If you need support or have questions, you can contact us at any time.

Yes! If you don't need a blog, you can use the blog sections (called canvases) for anything, like your latest projects.

Nope! With a payment plan, you simply agree to the terms when purchasing, and you will get your template with your first payment. Please note you are committing to be legally bound to the full price of your purchase. Since there is no way to "return" a download, we do not offer refunds.
